Belter representing Oxy well in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League
TORRINGTON, Conn. (July 20, 2010) – Oxy baseball is well represented on the east coast this summer, as Brooks Belter has found a home in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League, a league made up hopeful future Major League Baseball prospects. Belter made a name for himself, not by just battling his way onto the Torrington Titans of the ACBL, but by becoming one of their most effective relief pitchers, sporting a 0.692 ERA with twenty strikeouts in just seven appearances so far this summer.

(May 1, 2010) – Occidental College third baseman Stephen Hilliard was a triple shy of the cycle as the Tigers put up a fight late before falling to the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference 2010 Champion and NO. 11 Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens by a 7-6 margin at Alumni Stadium.
