Belter representing Oxy well in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League

TORRINGTON, Conn. (July 20, 2010) Oxy baseball is well represented on the east coast this summer, as Brooks Belter has found a home in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League, a league made up hopeful future Major League Baseball prospects. Belter made a name for himself, not by just battling his way onto the Torrington Titans of the ACBL, but by becoming one of their most effective relief pitchers, sporting a 0.692 ERA with twenty strikeouts in just seven appearances so far this summer.

(May 1, 2010) Occidental College third baseman Stephen Hilliard was a triple shy of the cycle as the Tigers put up a fight late before falling to the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference 2010 Champion and NO. 11 Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens by a 7-6 margin at Alumni Stadium.

(April 30, 2010) For the final time in 2010 and for the last time after four-year baseball careers for Glenn Gray and Jason Jebbia, Occidental College took to the diamond this afternoon. Oxy hosted Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action. The Stags earned a 10-1 victory over the Tigers by way of long ball.
