LOS ANGELESSamuel Miller and the Occidental men's golf team finished fourth overall at the SCIAC Men's Golf Championships at Brookside GC on Saturday.

Miller, Oxy's senior captain, had rounds of 68, 75 and 77 on Saturday.

Oxy placed fourth at the SCIAC three-day tournament behind Redlands, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and La Verne, and finishes fourth overall in a highly competitive conference after seven conference rounds this year.

Tanay Srivastav was Oxy's second-best during the weekend, shooting 68, 79 and 83. Cole Warner wasn't far behind him at 76, 74 and 81, and Jack Moeller rounded out Oxy's scorers with a 78, 83 and 75.

"Finishing fourth place in this conference is a tremendous accomplishment that these guys should be very proud of," Oxy head coach Will Morris said. "We had different people score for us each day which shows the depth of the program. We are sad to see senior Sam and Cole go, but they have left a terrific mark on our program and we're excited for the future."
