The Tigers fell behind 6-4 with 24 minutes, 37 seconds to play in the second half when Jordyn McFarlance found the net.

But then the Tigers started clicking with six different players scoring during a dominating stretch that lasted past the 5-minute mark. Larson scored three of her goals during the run, Alida Beck chipped in two and Beebe Finch Sanders won five of her game-high eight draw controls.

In the first half, North Central (Ill.) goalie Sandy Stasaitis came out hot, saving six of the Tigers shots. Oxy wasn't able to find the net until nearly 18 minutes into the game when Rebecca Belding put away the Tigers first goal on a pass from Samantha Stewart.

Oxy's defense came out hot too, playing aggressively and slotting early which took away shot opportunities and forced North Central (Ill.) to move the ball.

The Tigers took a 3-2 first-half lead when Larson scored her second goal of the first half, putting Oxy up 3-2 with 5:18 to play.

The Cardinals countered with a pair of goals by Gina Fisher and Leea Lopresti, taking a 4-3 lead into halftime.
