Degnan Leads Oxy Against Chapman

LOS ANGELESSabrina Degnan had 13 kills and 15 digs in a 3-1 loss to Chapman on Saturday.

The Tigers took the first set, but fell in the next three.

Degnan has been Oxy's standout this season, leading the team with 3 kills per set. She is 10th in the SCIAC with 2.74 kills per set in conference play and is second on the team with 3.16 digs per set.

Jacqueline Rutherfurd also had a big game with 10 kills, Hannah Wagner had nine kills and Taylor Gorretta chipped in eight kills. Sydney Takauye had a team-high 16 digs and three aces. Lara Minassians had 22 assists and Allie Sundara had 18 assists, six kills and 11 digs. 

Jessie Lumsden led the Panthers with 13 kills

Season Impact: Oxy falls to 7-11 and 2-8 in SCIAC.

Chapman improves to 17-4 and 8-3 in SCIAC.

Next Game: The Tigers are back in action on Tuesday at Pomona-Pitzer.
