Tigers finish second at Collegiate III Tournament
KENOSHA, Wisc. (May 9, 2010) – For the second weekend in a row the Occidental College women’s water polo team saw themselves in the Championship game of a Tournament. Last weekend, it was the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships in which the Tigers lost an overtime heartbreaker to Pomona-Pitzer. This weekend, it was a familiar foe in Cal Lutheran University, but the final game was for the rights to call themselves Collegiate III National Champions. Unfortunately for the Black and Orange, the Regals used a strong second half to hand Oxy a 10-5 loss in their final game of the season.
