LA VERNE — The Occidental men's and women's swimming and diving teams cruised past La Verne for a comfortable victory in a dual meet with the Leopards on Saturday.
The Oxy women won by a score of 176-52 and the men won 166-53.
From the Coach: "To come into La Verne and win by the wide margin we did shows our teams improvement over the past two years, given that we lost to them two years ago," Oxy head coach Steve Webb said. "It was a cold and rainy meet, but I was happy with how the teams raced and competed in the middle of an intense training session."
The Oxy women won every swimming event in the competition.
