LOS ANGELES — The Occidental women's swimming and diving team finished its best dual meet season in program history with a 221-48 victory over Chapman at Taylor Pool on Saturday.
The Tigers improve to 6-2 on the season headed into the SCIAC Championships on Feb. 21.
"It's the best dual meet season we've ever had at Oxy, going 6-2," Oxy head coach Steve Webb said. "I'm really proud of our seniors and the foundation they laid for the future. I'm equally excited about our talented young swimmers that have been outstanding this season."
Laura Chun and Cindy Dong led the way for Oxy, winning three individual races each and also swimming a leg on a winning relay. Claire Jang won two races for the Tigers and was also on a winning relay.
The Tigers won every swimming event for a clean sweep at the top of the podium.
Chapman was 4-2 in SCIAC dual meets headed into the competition.
It was the last meet for home meet for seniors Hannah Ash, Laura Chun, and Joan Kronick. It was also the last swim meet at Taylor Pool with the new De Mandel Aquatic Center and Townsend Crosthwaite Pool due to be ready for next season.
