Dunne, Relays Impressive at CMS Meet

CLAREMONT — Isabelle Dunne set a lifetime best in the 100-meter hurdles and a pair of Oxy men's relay teams posted the fastest times of the day as the Occidental track and field teams competed at the Rossi Relays, hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday.

Dunne, a freshman who's already made headlines for posting the seventh best all-time Oxy mark in the 400m hurdles (65.54) last weekend at the Pomona-Pitzer All-Comers meet, finished fifth overall against a competitive field in the 100m hurdles (15.96).

Oxy's 4x100 relay team (Jeh JohnsonHugh PeganConnor Pendleton and Kyle Dalton) finished first overall (42.91).

Oxy's 4x400 team (Nicholas Conklin, Pegan, Johnson and Jesse Wong) also finished first overall (3:22.25).

Other Highlights:

Charlotte Selters set a personal record in the women's 3000m (11:14.61).

Jovani Barajas set a personal reocrd in the men's 3000m (9:08.08).

Pegan ran the men's 100m in 11.17.

Noah Winnick recorded a pair of personal records in the men's discus (130'5") and javelin (158'0").

Next Meet: The Tigers have their first SCIAC meet at Redlands on March 7.
