LOS ANGELES — Paul Bergevin scored two goals for the Tigers in their home opener, but the Occidental men's water polo team couldn't overcome a slow start Saturday morning, losing 12-4 to Pomona-Pitzer.

Topher Lacrampe and Dominic Rodriguez each added a goal for the Tigers.

The Sagehens pulled ahead 4-1 at the end of the first quarter and went into halftime up  6-2.

Pomona-Pitzer grabbed a 9-4 win against the Tigers when they met at the Inland Empire Classic earlier this year.

Season Impact: The Tigers are 2-12 overall and 0-1 in SCIAC play. 

The Tigers will host their Alumni Game tomorrow at 11 a.m. with a lunch reception following immediately after. Alumni are encouraged to register at this link if they plan on attending.
