THOUSAND OAKS — Paul Bergevin scored all three of his goals in the third quarter and Matt Munet added three, including a pair in the fourth.
But the Occidental men's water polo team was unable to erase a 6-2 halftime deficit at Cal Lutheran, falling 12-7 on Saturday.
Bergevin, a junior from Los Altos, upped his team-leading goal total to 30.
Dominic Rodrigues also found the net for the Tigers. Oxy keeper Josh Needleman made 10 saves.
AJ Franklin led Cal Lutheran with five goals.
Season Impact: The Tigers fall to 2-17 and 0-6 in SCIAC play with a pair of games remaining before the SCIAC Championship Tournament.
Cal Lutheran improves to 9-12 and 3-4.
Next Game: The Tigers are back in the pool at Caltech on Nov. 11. The Kingsmen play at Pomona-Pitzer on Nov. 14 in their next game.
