PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The Occidental men's water polo team opened the 2015 season with a unique opportunity to play against three NCAA Division I opponents, competing at the Bruno Classic, hosted by Brown University this weekend.
Game 1: George Washington 8, Occidental 3

Dominic Rodriguez, Alexander Zim and Paul Bergevin were Oxy's goal scorers. George Washington was led by Dute Becker, who finished with a game-high three goals.
Josh Needleman made 13 saves for Oxy.
Game 2: St. Francis (N.Y.) 15, Occidental 5
Box Score
Henry Franscioni led Oxy with a pair of goals. Zim, Bergevin and Rodriguez each added one.
Bogdan Kostic and Ilija Djoretic led St. Francis with three each.
Needleman had 16 saves for Oxy.
Game 3: Brown 13, Occidental 6
Box Score
William Kim, Theo Bass, Rodriguez, Bergevin, Franscioni and Zim each scored a goal for Oxy.
Brown got three goals from Spencer Carroll.
Adam Florsheim made 17 saves for the Tigers.
Game 4: MIT 12, Occidental 6
Box Score
Bergevin led the Tigers with two goals. Mo Mills, Matt Munet, Franscioni and Zim each had one.
MIT got a game-high five goals from Kale Rodgers.
Next Game: The Tigers are in the Inland Empire Tournament next weekend on Sept. 12-13. Oxy opens with Concordia on Saturday at 10:20 a.m.
