LOS ANGELES — The Occidental men's water polo team fell to Pomona-Pitzer 21-7 at Taylor Pool on Wednesday.

Oxy's star newcomer Brett Luch scored a team-best four goals. Elijah Havens chipped in two goals and Joseph Cox had one.

Alex Marlot had a pair of steals for the Tigers. Oxy keeper Matt Weiser had eight saves and three steals.

Maxwell Bethel led the Sagehens with four goals.

The Tigers are still in search of their first win, falling to 0-14 and 0-5.

Oxy is back in action at the Gary Troyer Tournament in Claremont on Saturday. Oxy opens the tournament against Caltech at 8 a.m.
