LOS ANGELES — In his last match at Taylor Pool, Occidental senior Matt Weiser erupted for a game-high six goals against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Wednesday.

The Tigers were competitive throughout before falling 15-10.

Oxy's Theo Bass, Elijah Havens, Walter Sandbloom and Peter Blumberg all scored one goal, rounding out the Tigers' scorers.

Nicolas Lipari had three assists, two steals and two drawn exclusions for Oxy.

Christian Thornton led CMS with four goals.  

Senior Day: The Tigers paid tribute to three seniors playing in their last home game with a brief pregame ceremony. 

Theo Bass - Theo is a senior attacker from Tiburon, California. He will graduate this spring with a degree in Media Arts and Culture, minoring in Interdisciplinary Writing. Theo's favorite moment during his career is our win against Chapman last season for the first time in eight years. After graduation, Theo plans to pursue a career in filmmaking and screenwriting, working for Rumble Films, a production company based in Los Angeles. Theo was joined by his mother, Ellen Bass.

Matt Otsuka - Matt is a senior center from Greenwich, CT. He will graduate this spring with a degree in Economics, minoring in Mathematics. Matt's favorite memory is spending Saturdays with the boys. After graduation, Matt plans to attend Med-school, pursuing a career in medicine like his father. Matt was joined by his parents, Norman and Sharon Otsuka. 

Matt Weiser - Matt is a senior center from Winnetka, IL. He will graduate this spring with a degree in Geology, minoring in Biology. Matt's favorite water polo moment is our win against Chapman last year. He hopes the younger men will continue to be the model team on campus, excelling as students and athletes. After graduation, Matt plans to study Geochemistry in grad school. Matt was joined by his parents, Sam and Susan Weiser, as well as his brother, Jon Weiser.

Next Game: The Tigers have two remaining road games to close out the season. Oxy plays at Pomona-Pitzer on Nov. 4 and at Redlands on Nov. 11.
