Claremont, CA — The Occidental men's water polo team put up a good fight against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at Wednesday's night game. The teams were evenly matched and the score stayed within one goal. However, CMS was able to claim the win, 10-9.
The Tigers managed to open scoring in each period throughout the game, with Kellen Radtkey (Santa Barbara, CA) starting things off in the first period, Aiden Cawley (Chicago, IL) in the second, Wilson Noll (Ann Arbor, MI) in the third, and Joseph Cox (Fresno, CA) in the fourth. For three of the periods, the Oxy and CMS matched in goals scored. However, it would be the extra goal CMS was able to score in the second period that would be the deciding factor when the clock ran out.
Oxy Goals:
Wilson Noll 2
Joseph Cox - 2
Kellen Radtkey - 1
Aiden Cawley 1
Keegan Klein 1
Christian Guillaume 1
Jarrod Norton - 1
