Oxy Tees Up for Season Opener

Ventura, CA —  The Occidental men's golf team headed to the California State Intercollegiate Golf Championships yesterday.  After a long day out on the green, the men finished in third place over all out of 10 teams at even par.  The Tigers were in second place among the SCIAC schools, behind CMS.

Senior Co-Captain Jack Moeller (Lafayette, CA) shot a 3 under par 69 leading the Tiger Men yesterday morning to a school record 5 under par 283 at the California State Intercollegiate Golf Championships at Olivas Links Golf Course.

Two other Tigers, junior Alec Phillips (Santa Cruz, CA) and first year Adam Elshamy (Alexandria, Egypt), also broke par, carding 2 under par 70s.
