Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental Men's Water Polo team faced Cal Lutheran in a very close game on Wednesday. Christian Guillaume (Ventura, CA) was the first to score with the assist from Keegan Klein (Bellevue, WA). Right after, Nate Fisher (LaGrange, IL) deposited the perfect shot with help from Shea Grosz (Lafayette, CA). After a quick steal, Guillaume found the back of the net again, assisted by Aiden Cawley (Chicago, IL). Then, Grosz scored. To end the first quarter strong, Jarrod Norton (Newbury Park, CA) converted a five-meter attempt. During the second quarter, Norton shot and scored again on a five-meter, then Grosz scored with help from Fisher. With forty-two seconds left in the second quarter, Fisher added another point to the scoreboard for the Tigers. Cal Lutheran's defense held up strong in the third quarter but that didn't stop the Tigers from responding strongly. In the fourth quarter, Fisher scored another goal with help from Hayden Comerford (Honolulu, HI) on a powerplay. Then, Guillaume fired two back-to-back shots from the center, with one of the assists going to Comerford. On defense, the Tigers had five steals and Cian Concannon (Mill Valley, CA) drew two exclusions. Although the Tigers fought hard, they fell to Cal Lutheran in the end. Final Score: 13-11 Cal Lutheran
