La Verne, CA — The Occidental Men's Water Polo team faced La Verne on Wednesday in a high scoring game. Nate Fisher (LaGrange, IL) kicked off the game with the first goal, then Keegan Klein (Bellevue, WA) scored with help from Oliver Wilkins (Seattle, WA). Following shortly, Cian Concannon (Mill Valley, CA) put the ball in the goal from the center with the assist awarded to Fisher. Then, Jarrod Norton (Newbury Park, CA) shot and scored back-to-back goals. With two seconds left in the first quarter, Shea Grosz (Lafayette, CA) hit the back of the net. Kellen Radtkey (Santa Barbara, CA) scored two quick goals to start off the second quarter and then Christian Guillaume (Ventura, CA) followed. Halfway through, Grosz scored again. Then, Klein scored two back-to-back goals and to finish off the second, Concannon added another point to the scoresheet. 

After regrouping during halftime, Guillaume put it in the back of the cage. Then, Radtkey found the perfect shot again. Fisher followed, beating the goalie and then Norton scored. With seventeen seconds left in the third, Klein fired a shot to the back of the cage. In the last quarter, Radtkey and Norton shot and scored again, then Guillaume found the perfect shot from the center. Finally, Concannon fired a backhand to end the game. On defense, the Tigers had ten steals and drew ten exclusions. Final Score 22-16.  

Alam Chang led La Verne with seven goals.
