Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental Men's Water Polo team secures their spot in the postseason tournament after a win over La Verne University on Saturday. Shea Grosz (Lafayette, CA) was the first to score with the assist from Kellen Radtkey (Santa Barbara, CA). Then, Christian Guillaume (Ventura, CA) came next with a shot from the center. That assist was also awarded to Radtkey. Next, Radtkey scored a goal of his own with help from Grosz. Grosz was on fire, with another two goals hitting the back of the net. In the second quarter, Guillaume scored again with help from Radtkey. Shortly after, Nate Fisher (LaGrange, IL) added a point to the scoresheet with the assist going to Grosz. Then, Cian Concannon (Mill Valley, CA) shot and scored with help from Keegan Klein (Bellevue, WA). On a powerplay, Klein struck with a great pass from Jarrod Norton (Newbury Park, CA). During the second half of the game, Klein converted a penalty shot followed by another goal from Concannon. That goal was assisted by Dominic Rios (Redlands, CA). Finally, Guillaume beat the goalie and scored again with help from Rios. On defense, the Tigers drew eight exclusions and had eighteen steals.
