Claremont, CA – Oxy played against Pomona-Pitzer this last Wednesday night in a competitive rematch.

Starting off strong with Shipp's shots, Oxy was up on the scoreboard right off the bat. Although the team snagged a slight lag, Delorme's layup and Williams' usual three-point skills allowed the team to gain a lead again at 14:08 on the clock. This could be seen stumbling the Sagehen's as they struggled to make their three point shots for the next few minutes. The Tigers, although losing the lead for a second, still maintained a better shots made to attempts taken percentage compared to the Sagehens; again showing the team's ability to fluster the opponents.

The second half allowed for Nolet's and William's abilities to shine as they maintained the highest points scored for the Tigers. Nolet specifically can be seen closing out of the season strong, having played 13 conference games this season (the most for any first year tied with Delorme). Despite not playing as much time in earlier games this season, Nolet proved his skills after winter break as the coaches took him off the bench and allowed him to pop off this season. Delorme, although getting less time this game, was able to score similarly to Nolet and has proven his skills to be superb this season despite it being his first season with Oxy.

The end of the half closed out with some saucy blocks from Waldman, allowing Shipp to shoot, bringing their score closer to Pomona's at the end of the game.

Next game: Although expected to end their season here, Oxy will be able to bring their skills back to the court this Sunday at 2:00pm against the University of Los Angeles.
