Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental Men's Water Polo team faced Mt. San Antonio College in an intense, first home game. Christian Guillaume (Ventura, CA) was the first to score two back-to-back goals with assists from Nate Fisher (LaGrange, IL) and Aiden Cawley (Chicago, IL). Keegan Klein (Bellevue, WA) scored next on a penalty shot. In the second quarter, Jarrod Norton (Newbury Park, CA) and Fisher scored with help from Oliver Wilkins (Seattle, WA). Next, Cawley found a shot with the assist coming from goalie Henry Grady (Willow Grove, PA). With twenty four seconds left in the second, Cian Concannon (Mill Valley, CA) deposited a shot with help from Fisher. Guillaume started off the third strong, with the assist from Wilkins. Then, Fisher put it in the cage twice in a row, one of the assists from Wilkins. Norton beat the goalie twice with the assists going to Raul Rodriguez (Miami, FL) and Travis Hughes (Corte Madera, CA). To kickstart the fourth quarter, Tate Miller (San Anselmo, CA) put it in the cage with the assist from Klein. Then, Guillaume scored back-to-back goals again, with help from Miller and Cawley. Ending strong, Concannon shot and scored with the assist awarded to Cawley. Defensively, the Tigers drew nine exclusions and had five steals, Fisher taking two. Final Score: 16-12 Oxy.
