Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental Men's Water Polo team battled up against UC Irvine in their second game of the Gary Troyer Tournament on Friday. Aiden Cawley (Chicago, IL) was the first to score, bringing high intensity for the Tigers. Then, Cian Concannon (Mill Valley, CA) added a point with a speedy backhand. In the second quarter, Shea Grosz (Lafayette, CA) shot and scored. Keeping the energy up, Keegan Klein (Bellevue, WA) completed a penalty shot for the Tigers. Christian Guillaume (Ventura, CA) followed, with a powerful shot from center. To finish the game off strong, Grosz and Concannon found their second goals of the game. Defensively, the Tigers drew twelve exclusions and had four steals. Final Score: 14-7 UC Irvine.
Samuel Otta led UC Irvine with three goals.
