Los Angeles, CA — Oxy's women's soccer team traveled to Thousand Oaks to take on the Cal Lutheran Regals on Wednesday night.Â
The Regals came out firing on offense and forced Oxy Goalie Ingrid Odmark to come up with some big saves to keep the game tied at 0-0 early on in the game. Odmark would total 5 saves in the 1st half alone and the game would enter halftime tied at 0.Â
Before 10 minutes had passed after the start of the 2nd half, Cal Lutheran was able to get on the board with a goal to take a 1-0 lead.Â
Clare Madden and Lauren Cassel would be able to get off shots for Oxy but they were both just off the mark from tying the game. Cal Lutheran would hold on to win by a score of 1-0.Â
Oxy will play next on Saturday, October 21st against the Whittier Poets at home on Homecoming Saturday at 7pm.
