Los Angeles, CA – The Occidental women's basketball paid homage to their 2 seniors, #1 Maylene Hughes and #15 Kiarra Young. Both seniors have contributed to the basketball program both on and off the court. Hughes and Young are known for their kind and positive personalities and electric presence at Rush Gym. Oxy athletics thanks them for their commitment to their team and school for the past 4 years.

Maylene Hughes went off for her night, leading the team with 13 points. Dara Tokeshi followed Hughes with 10 points. Kiarra Young also dominated the court, leading with 7 rebounds. Although the Tigers didn't come out with the win, they still managed to leave it all out on the court. 

The Tigers' next match is against La Verne at La Verne on Wednesday, February 15 at 7:00 p.m.
