LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Occidental men's water polo dropped its home SCIAC contest with Redlands on Wednesday, October 23, 12-7.

The Tigers played the No. 1 ranked Bulldogs well through the first three quarters. They took a lead in the first quarter and played to a draw after one. The Bulldogs rattled off three straight goals to start the second quarter, but a
Max Stone score and a big stop on defense gave the Tigers momentum going into halftime.

After the break, Occidental picked up another goal, cutting the deficit to just one, 6-5. In a game of runs, Redlands picked up two more goals in the third, before the Tigers closed the third with a
Danny Miller goal and a
James Derrod save.

Some stout Bulldog defense kept the Tigers at bay in the fourth as they added four scores for good measure.

Stone and
Danny Miller led the Tigers with two scores apiece on the evening, while
Aiden Cawley and
Travis Hughes each notched a goal and a save.
