LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Men's hoops lost a tight back-and-forth contest, 79-74 to SUNY Oneonta after a 14-point comeback to force overtime on Thursday, December 19.
Â
Down by double-digits three minutes into the second half, the Tiger strung together a 32-17 run to take a one-point lead with four minutes to go.
Micah Breaux picked up a season-high 19 to lead the offensive comeback. He and
Nasir Luna made big shots down the stretch.
Â
Luna hit a three pointer, one of his three triples, and a go-ahead layup on a fast break off a steal. Breaux grew the Tiger lead to four, but the offense hit a wall as Oneonta finished regulation with a 4-0 run.
Â
In overtime,
Henry Wilson made the Tigers' biggest shot of the afternoon, a triple to give Oxy a 74-71 lead early in the extra period. However, that's all the scoring the Tigers picked up in the game as the Red Dragons closed the game on an 8-0 run.
