Los Angeles, CA – Last week, the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced their awards and the Occidental women's basketball team had two student-athletes named First Team All-SCIAC.

Senior guard Toni Thompson was the leading scorer in the conference this season with a total of 598 points, a 100-point lead over the next highest scorer in the SCIAC.  Thompson averaged 24.8 points per game and 11.4 rebounds per game.  She earned a total of 17 double-doubles this season.

Sophomore center Ainsley Shelsta made strong contributions to the Tiger offense and defense this season.  Shelsta averaged 13.7 points per game and 10 rebounds per game.  She earned a total of 13 double-doubles this season.
