LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Women's basketball dominated Pomona-Pitzer from start to finish, to the tune of a 79-55 victory on Wednesday, January 22 at Rush Gym.

It was a team effort with four Tigers in double figures, and
Paige Yasukochi scored a game-high 22. Oxy's 53% shooting from the field and staggering 55% from deep kept the Tigers ahead early and often.

Oxy opened the game on a 25-10 run in the first quarter.
Michelle Lagunas-Monroy got to the rack with ease, picking up seven of her 14 points in the first.

After the first, the Tigers led by at least 14 and as many as 26 the rest of the way.
Megan Delgado provided a nice spark off the bench with eight points and two triples. She's averaging 10 over her last two games.

BY THE NUMBERS
The Tigers swung the rock with ease, assisting on 16 buckets to the Sagehens' seven.
Dominique Cabading led all players with six.

They also dominated the boards, outrebounding Pomona-Pitzer 42-25.

Oxy scoring came at all three levels with 44 of the Tigers' points coming in the paint, 18 from three and 17 from the midrange.
