REDLANDS, Calif. — Occidental College secured a decisive 3-0 victory over the University of Redlands in a conference match on Saturday at Farquhar Field. The Tigers dominated the game with 11 shots, including 6 on target, while limiting the Bulldogs to a single shot on goal. The match was highlighted by Occidental's consistent offensive pressure, leading to two second-half goals that sealed the win.
The first half began with the Tigers making an early push, as
Joshua Lang's shot required a save from Redlands' goalkeeper, Brady Bachman, just 28 seconds into the match. Occidental continued to press, earning multiple corner kicks and maintaining offensive pressure. In the 40th minute,
Vicente Navarro capitalized on a corner kick, scoring his first goal of the season to put the Tigers ahead.
Despite the Bulldogs' attempts to respond, including a shot on goal saved by Occidental's goalkeeper
Carlos Abram in the 44th minute, the half closed with the Tigers holding a 1-0 lead.
The second half began with the Tigers extending their lead over the Bulldogs. In the 65th minute,
Matthew Shea capitalized on a deflection, scoring his first goal of the season to put Occidental up 2-0. Just four minutes later,

Eddie Siladie, found the net with a header to increase the advantage to 3-0.
