LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Jasmine Shum earned a Second Team All-SCIAC nod on Thursday, November 13 after a breakout rookie campaign with the Tigers.

Shum emerged as one of the conference's top outsides, ending the season in fourth in kills per set, ahead of the SCIAC Newcomer of the Year, Lily Kautai from Redlands. Shum's 225 kills were the ninth most in the conference. Her hitting percentage of .221 also led the team.

In her debut season, Shum notched 20 or more kills in three matches and tallied double-digit totals in 12 of 18 matches played. She was no slouch defensively, finishing fifth on the team in digs (126) and fourth in reception percentage (among qualified players with 30 or more digs).

Shum helped the Tigers improve their conference win total from a season ago after finishing the 2024 season 0-16. The Tigers will return to Rush Gym in 2026.
