LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Paige Yasukochi was named SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week on Monday December 15. This is the senior's second SCIAC weekly honor of the season.
 
Yasukochi led the Tigers with two blocks and six rebounds while holding Bethesda to just 29 points in the Tigers' 89-29 victory on Friday. She did it all while only playing for 19 minutes in the rout. This was the first time the Tigers held an opponent to under 30 points since 2021.
 
The Tigers are back in action tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16 against Westminster (Mo.).
