LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Men's tennis dropped its first meeting with a Division III opponent on Friday, February 21 – a 5-2 loss to Brandeis.
 
The Tigers surrendered the doubles point, but won the second doubles match. Ace Andres and Mason Hart won the match 6-4.
 
The Tigers added a pair of points in the singles matches with a Brett Miller tiebreaker win – 6-1, 2-6 and 7-5 in third singles. Konan Sahara won another thrilling tiebreaker in the sixth singles spot, coming from behind, 3-6, 7-5 and 13-11.
Oxy failed to cash in at other spots in the lineup as the Judges handily took care of business with sweeps across the board.
 
Oxy is back in action against UC Santa Cruz on Sunday, February 23.
