LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Men's basketball dropped its Wednesday night matchup with Chapman 76-53. This is the Tigers' seven-straight loss in SCIAC play.

Both teams struggling early to convert baskets, the Tigers had opportunities to take an early lead but couldn't cash in on various occasions. Trailing by only five heading into the final media timeout of the first half, the Tigers stayed stagnant, and the Panthers got hot, closing the frame on a 14-6 run.

Coming out of the half was more of the same, Oxy's woes continued, finishing the game shooting 38% from the field and 21% from three.

Atticus Boba led all Tiger scorers with nine, while five finished with eight points. Occidental turned the ball over 16 times to the Panthers' 11.
