LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Women's water polo hosted the Virginia Military Institute Keydets in a Monday matinee matchup on March 10. The Tigers fell 14-10.

Down 8-3 headed into halftime, a comeback looked bleak for the Tigers, but a 5-2 advantage in the third, followed by a goal to open the fourth, put the score at 10-9 with seven minutes to play.
Koko Butcher led the way for the Tigers, scoring six goals in the game all coming in the second half.

Estella Gray provided an early spark for Oxy, picking up two goals in the second quarter. Â
Tori Carlson and
Ruby Vogel picked up two assists.

Alexandra Moye notched eight saves, while Carlson, who closed the game in goal, picked up her first save of the season. She also added three steals.

The Tigers are back in action on the March 18 to take on Macalester.
