With two out and a runner on second, Wagner delivered the game winning knock on a line drive down the right field line, bringing home pinch runner
Ava Quezada. The win marks the Tigers second in a row and second in SCIAC play.

It was a close game all afternoon, with both starting pitchers tossing a pair of scoreless innings to open the ball game. Chapman added runs in the third and fourth before Oxy took its first lead of the game.

Sophia Siu placed down a perfect squeeze attempt to get the Tigers on the board, then
Isabella Harding brought a pair of runners home on a one-out double off the center field wall.

With a 3-2 lead in the sixth,
Zada Day-Adams relieved starting pitcher
Sam Alfaro with a runner on base. While the run came around to score, Day-Adams stranded the go-ahead run on third with a strikeout.

In the seventh, a one-two-three inning gave Oxy a chance to win it in the bottom half.
Jordan Lebsock's one-out single and a
Katie Placensia ground out, to move the runner over, set up Wagner's victorious swing of the bat.

With the victory, the Tigers improved to 8-22 on the season and 2-11 in SCIAC play.
