LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Men's tennis fell to the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen at home on Friday, April 4th, in a narrow 4-3 loss.
The Kingsmen won the doubles point by taking first doubles, 6-2, before only marginally winning second and third doubles, 7-6 and 6-4 respectively.
CLU also picked up the first two singles points, but Brett Miller would get the Tigers on the board in third singles by winning straight sets - 6-4, 6-4.
Josiah Mones won fourth singles in straight sets, 7-4 and 6-2 and Konan Sahara picked up the win in the final singles match of the day - 6-1, 6-3.
Cal Lutheran had picked up the win in 4th singles, which secured a Kingsmen victory at the time but the Tigers picking up wins in 5th and 6th singles made the final 4-3.
