The Tigers' efficient performance featured a commanding .456 attack percentage and 23 service aces. The Eagles struggled offensively, finishing with a negative attack percentage of -.075.
Occidental started the first with a commanding performance, highlighted by an early 6-0 run at the hands of
Elizabeth Hermosillo, who served four consecutive points, including a service ace.
Eyleen Sanchez further extended the lead with a series of four service aces, contributing significantly to an 8-1 scoring stretch that put the Tigers firmly in control.
Jasmine Shum sealed the set with her third kill, ending the set with a 25-9 victory, as
Lila Payne's playmaking resulted in multiple assists throughout the frame.
The Tigers surged in the second, capitalizing on a significant run fueled by
Anna Curtis-Revelle, who tallied three service aces and a kill, contributing to an early 9-3 lead. Payne was instrumental, delivering multiple key assists, including a kill by Shum to clinch the set at 25-9.
