Box Score REDLANDS, Calif. — Occidental (5-6-4, 3-4-3 SCIAC) lost to Redlands (9-2-5, 6-0-3 SCIAC) 4-0 on Wednesday at Farquhar Field. Occidental was held scoreless despite putting four of its six shots on goal, while Redlands finished with a 21-6 advantage in shots. The Tigers withstood a second-half stretch from 71:04 to 79:45 without conceding despite five Redlands chances, but the push was not enough to change the final result.

Occidental spent much of the first half defending Redlands pressure, with Carlos Abram making saves on Jared Keyvan and a Redlands header during an early sequence that kept the match scoreless. The Tigers created two looks of their own, with Yordan Marinov shooting high in the 17th minute and Gianni Simamora sending an attempt wide left in the 26th. Occidental again held Redlands off through a stretch that included two corner kicks and a blocked shot, but Redlands broke through in the 34th minute when Thomas Lyden scored off assists from Landon Azavedo and Anders Beckton. Earlier, Occidental put multiple chances on frame, as Charlie Miller forced a save at 48:41 and Ethan Carr did the same at 62:21, while Occidental also dealt with Redlands chances that included Jared Keyvan hitting the post at 51:43. From 71:04 to 79:45, Occidental withstood a corner kick and four Redlands shots, including Carlos Abram's save on Hunter Byrne, and Elijah Edelman tested Jaden Nisperos with a 74:05 shot during that stretch. After Thomas Lyden's goal made it 2-0, Zachary Darmanyan scored twice for Redlands, with Piero Falconi Pujalt generating another shot on goal for Occidental between those goals before Redlands closed out the 4-0 result.
