EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Swim & Dive finished up at the SCIAC Championships on Saturday, February 21. The four-day meet was headlined by
Connor Grant's second-straight victory in the 200 Freestyle.

Grant repeats after winning the title in his first year. He set a school record twice this year in the 200, first his split in the 800 relay on Wednesday and later on Friday when he topped the podium. Grant's time, an NCAA B-Cut, was 1:39.07.

Two other Tigers reached the finals at the championships.
Florence Lo placed eighth in the 100 Breaststroke. She closed her career with the Tigers in the finals, earning points for Oxy with a time of 1:08.59, but her prelim time was 1:08.16.

Nate Pittroff also earned a spot in the finals of the 100 Breaststroke. He jumped up to sixth after placing seventh in the prelims, improving his time from 56.60 to 56.20 in the final.

Pittroff, along with Grant,
Jack Davis and
Reid Lalli broke the school record in the 800 Free Relay on the men's side, placing sixth in the conference. The Tigers' record-breaking mark was 6:50.27.

Amanda George was just off a pair of A-final appearances, finishing ninth in the 500 free and 12
th in the 200 free prelims. The senior was one of the Tigers top point scorers on the women's side. George,
Kyler Brumfield,
Florence Lo and
Katie Dannenbring placed fifth in the 400 medley relay – 4:02.65.

Violet Schultz and
Isaac Bassett shined as the Tigers' top divers. Schultz finished seventh and eighth in the one and three meter respectively. Bassett saw more success on the big board, finishing 10
th in the three and 12
th in the one. Â
