Women beat Whittier as swim and dive closes regular season

WHITTIER, Calif. — The women of Occidental Swim & Dive picked up a win over Whittier to close the regular season. It was the Tigers' lone victory of the day as the women split with the Poets and Redlands, 169-116 & 124-164. The men fell 101-175 to Whittier and 104-176 to Redlands.

Occidental College Player Highlights

Connor Grant secured first place in the Men 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:43.47. He also claimed victory in the Men 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 47.78 and placed second in the Men 50 Yard Freestyle in 21.51.

Amanda George excelled in the Women 200 Yard Freestyle, taking first place with a time of 2:00.65. She also finished third in the Women 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 56.23.

Florence Lo contributed significantly with a first-place finish in the Women 200 Yard Medley Relay. She also earned second place in the Women 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:09.75 and placed second in the Women 200 Yard IM in 2:20.71.

Isaac Bassett dominated the diving events, winning the Men 3 Meter Diving with a score of 326.55 and securing second place in the Men 1 Meter Diving with a score of 258.85.

Violet Schultz topped the Women 3 Meter Diving and repeated her success in the Women 1 Meter Diving with a winning score of 295.45.

Diving
