Los Angeles, CA. – Occidental athletics is excited to introduce the new Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine, Becky Roark!
Roark previously spent 18 years as part of the Pomona-Pitzer athletic department, originally starting in a role of assistant athletic trainer
Before becoming an athletic trainer for the Sagehens, Becky was a standout athlete at Division I San Jose State University, where she graduated in 2006 with a degree in Kinesiology.
Roark would eventually earn her master's degree from the newest member of the SCIAC, Azusa Pacific University, where she served as graduate assistant athletic trainer working with the volleyball and baseball programs.
After APU and before joining Sagehen athletics, Roark also spent time working in the athletic training department at the University of California, working with the men's water polo and baseball teams.
