2013: Defensive back for the Tigers ... Broke up two passes in Oxy's season opener at Pacific (Ore.) on Sept. 14 ... recorded seven tackles vs. Redlands on Oct. 5...returned an interception for 64 yards and made three tackles in a 38-30 win at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Oct. 12...made five tackles vs. Chapman on Oct. 19 ... registered eight total tackles and contributed to a sack at Whittier on Nov. 9 ... broke up three passes, forced a fumble and made four tackles in a 49-21 win over La Verne on Nov. 16.

2012: Registered 4 tackles and a pass break-up against Pacific...recorded nine tackles at Cal Lutheran (Oct. 20)...recorded 5.5 tackles and two pass breakups vs. Whittier (Nov. 3).

High School: Attended Interlake High School wherer he played quarterback for the Saints under coach Sheldon Cross. Plans to major in Economics and minor in UEP.

Personal: Matthew was born in Portland, Oregon... son of Janice and Steve Malos... has an older brother, Nick.
