Occidental College Application to Use Athletic Facilities

Oxy Athletics facilities are rented solely to insured organizations, schools, clubs etc. for athletic related purposes (i.e. games, practices, clinics, etc.) Facilities are not available for personal use or events such as company picnics, graduations, etc. Typical review time for a rental application is 3-5 business days, and we require at least a minimum 10 business day lead time for new contracts.

Note: During the Academic year ( Mid August- Early December & Mid January-Mid May) most facilities are only available before 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Availability varies Friday-Sunday, and is often sporadic and limited.

Insurance Requirements Notice:

All external groups are required to provide Occidental College a certificate of insurance naming "Occidental College, its trustees, officers, employees, students, agents, and volunteers" as certificate holder and additional insureds. A waiver of subrogation in favor of Occidental College is required. The activity/use will determine the limits and types of insurance required but no less than $1 million will be accepted for any group. Additional coverage and higher limits may be required. A Facilities Use Permit will not be issued until all insurance requirements are met. In seeking this permit, the applicant agrees that the use of these facilities will be under proper supervision and that OCCIDENTAL COLLEGE is a smoke-free environment.
