2012-13: Dished out seven assists vs. Redlands on Dec. 5...scored eight points and dished out three assists vs. Whitworth on Dec. 15...scored five points, grabbed six rebounds and handed out four assists vs. UC Santa Cruz on Dec. 31...dished out eight assists and hauled in six rebounds in a 73-63 win over Emerson on Jan. 2...scored 10 points and handed out five assists in a 78-71 win over Caltech on Jan. 9...

2011-12: Averaged 3.8 points, 2.5 assists (team-high), and shot 41.4 percent from downtown...had a total of 84 points, 33 rebounds, 55 assists, and 14 steals

2010-11: Started all 23 games for the Tigers...averaged 5.3 points, 3.0 assists, and led the team with 1.8 steals per game

2009-10: Spending the majority of his freshman year developing his skills on the JV squad, Sam improved his already exceptional ball handling skills as he learned how to become a playmaker for the Tigers on the hardwood…Appeared in seven Varsity games, handing out seven assists…Earned Oxy Coaches Award.

High School: Sam played basketball for the Palisades HS Dolphins of the Western League.
