High School: Graduated from Durango High School in 2010 after starting four varsity seasons for Demons. Helped lead the Demons to a SWL championship in 2009. It was their first league championship in 10 years. Was voted to the All-SWL team his junior year. Was named a Player to Watch in Colorado by Collegiate Baseball in 2010, but injury limited his senior campaign. In the summer and fall played for several programs including the Four Corners Thunder, Albuquerque Baseball Academy and South Florida Bandits. Was named to the 2010 Andenucio Memorial Tournament All-Tourny Team.
