High School – Attended Jenison High School where he played for the Wildcats under coach Pete Hewett... was named All American, 1st Team All State, Academic All American and Academic All State. 

Personal – Jalen was born in Reston Virginia on September 12, 1993... parents are Lisa and Thad... is the eldest of six children... has three brothers (Evan, Levi, and Isaac) and two sisters (Lydia and Alaina)...hopes to attend law school.
