Kelliner Croushore

Kelliner Croushore enters her fifth season with the Occidental Tiger softball team, and first as Head Coach, after two seasons as Interim. Croushore took over the program in 2020, as Interim Head Coach, however, with the pandemic, the 2020 season was cut short and the 2021 season was cancelled.

Croushore joined the Tigers in 2018, and shortly after her arrival she was elevated to the first full-time female sport assistant in Occidental history. In her first year as assistant Croushore was responsible for the hitters and outfield, and helped the Tigers post the best overall offensive statistics in program history.

Croushore  came to Occidental from Georgetown University, Washington D.C. where she served as an assistant coach for two seasons (2017 and 2018) for the Division I Hoyas while completing her Master’s degree in Sports Industry Management.  At Georgetown she served as assistant pitching coach under Head Coach Pat Conlan and had responsibilities for outfielders and hitting. She helped coach the Hoyas to signature wins over the Universities of Texas, Pittsburgh, Michigan State, and Virginia while helping to guide two of her players to Big East Second Team honors.

Prior to Georgetown, Croushore was the assistant/pitching coach at Rhodes College (Memphis, TN) where her responsibilities included developing pitchers, outfielders, hitters, as well as recruiting and game-day coaching. In 2016 she helped guide the Lynx to the podium in the Southern Athletic Association Conference Tournament, facing teams ranked in the top 20 nationally. Croushore helped guide six Lynx to the 2016 SAA All-Conference Team, and an NFCA All-Region Second Team selection.

Croushore, from Claremont, CA, graduated from The College of the Holy Cross (Patriot League, Division I, Worcester, MA) in 2014 with a degree in Sociology and logged 129 career starts over the course of four seasons for the Crusaders. Over her career she earned honors and distinctions including College Sports Madness Patriot League Player of the Week, and she made her mark in the record books in both single-season and career home runs (upon matriculation) along with Academic Honor Roll.

Croushore is dedicated to the Tigers and is looking forward to bolstering the student-athletes as top performers both in softball and the world that faces them beyond Bell Field.
