2011-12: Named SCIAC Player of the Year...named First-Team All-SCIAC...named First-Team All-West Region...a team captain... Named the SCIAC Female Student-Athlete of the Week four times — on Nov. 29, on Jan. 3, Jan. 17 and Jan. 31...averaged team-high 18.4 points per game to go along with 6.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.7 steals...Scored a career high 36 points in a 73-67 win over Whitter on Jan. 14... Scored 25 points in the second half to lead Oxy past Hiram College on Dec. 30. Finished the game with 28 points...Hit the first buzzer beater of her career to give Oxy a 67-66 win over Monmouth (Ill.) College on Dec. 31... Scored 30 points in a 61-58 win over Redlands on Jan. 26 to put Oxy back into first place... Capital One Academic All-District 8 Second Team... Scored 25 or her game-high 29 points in the second half to beat Redlands in a first place game on the road. 2010-11: As a sophomore guard for the Tigers, Makenzie was the fourth highest scorer in the SCIAC league with an average of 13.3 points per game. Overall she averaged 12.9 points per game. She had a high score of 28 points vs. Dominican University (Nov. 27), and 27 points vs. University of La Verne (Feb. 10). She played in 21 games, starting in 19 of them, averaging 28.5 minutes per game. She averaged 6.2 rebounds overall, and 6.7 in conference. Overall she had 74 assists, 42 steals, and a 74.2 free throw percentage rate. She was awarded First Team All-SCIAC, and helped contribute to the Tigers win of the SCIAC championships.
2009-10: As a freshman, Makenzie played in 25 games overall, 14 of them in conference. She averaged 11.5 points per game in conference, and 10.9 points overall. She was named First team All-SCIAC.
High School- Makenzie attended Seattle Academy.
