2014: Named to the SCIAC All-Academic team for her fall season.
2013: Junior midfielder for the Tigers... appeared in 12 out of 17 games, starting in 10... freed up Julie Khil with a perfect through ball for her first assist of the season at San Diego Christian (Aug. 31)... scored the go-ahead goal in an eventual 2-2 draw at Soka (Sept. 2).
2012: Played and started in all 16 games for the Tigers... registered at least one shot in every match but three... scored on a free kick from 30 yards out versus Pomona-Pitzer (Sept. 26)... recorded three shots in a 2-1 vs. La Verne one Sept. 29... scored the opening goal in a 1-1 draw at La Verne (Oct. 24).
2011: Made an instant impact as a freshman, making an appearance in 15 games, starting in 12... finished the season with 1 goal and 1 assist... scored her first collegiate goal in her first collegiate game, finishing off a cross from Liz Martin in the 77th minute vs. the Master's College (Sept. 7)... made the first start of her career vs. Williamette on. Sept. 11 and recorded two shots... recorded the first assist of her career in a 3-2 win at La Verne (Sept. 21) on Elissa Minamishin's opening goal in the 11th minute.
High School: During her time at Ramona Convent, Karina was on the Second Team All Division, First Team All Division, and played four years of varsity soccer... She was also a part of the California Scholarship Federation, National Honor Society, and was President of Girls Athletic Association...
Personal: Parents are Alma Garcia and Michael Garcia... Has two brothers, Christopher and Daniel.
