BRIEFLY: Carin Montelongo is going into herfirst year at Oxy and will be playing as a DS/Libero. HIGHSCHOOL: Carin graduated from Irvine High in Irvine, CA.She played volleyball at Mater Dei her freshman and sophomoreyears, and then continued to play her junior and senior years atIrvine. She was captain of her JV team and received MVP awards bothher junior and senior years. Senior year she also received the IHSScholar Athlete Award. OTHER: For the past fouryears, Carin has played club volleyball for Saddleback ValleyVolleyball Club and after graduating from Oxy, she intends onreturning to SVVC as a coach. PERSONAL: On October20, 1990 Carin was born in Orange County, CA. She is one of ninekids, and plans on attending Medical School aftergraduation.
