Becky Roark joined the Occidental College Athletics Department as its Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Medicine in August of 2026.
At Oxy, Roark is responsible for overseeing the entire sports medicine department and three assistant athletic trainers. Roark is in charge of spearheading all sports medicine and athletic training initiatives for Occidental Athletics.
Prior to her time at Occidental, Roark spent 18 years as an athletic trainer at Pomona-Pitzer. While with the Sagehens, Roark served as an assistant athletic trainer then Co-Head Athletic Trainer for seven years where she played an integral role in the health, safety and success of thousands of Pomona-Pitzer student-athletes.
Before her time in Claremont, Roark posted stints at the University of California, overseeing training and sports medicine duties for men's water polo and the baseaball teams. She also held a position at Azusa Pacific as a graduate assistant, working with the volleyball and baseball programs while earning her master's degree.
Roark graduated from San Jose State University in 2006 with a degree in Kinesiology. While with the Spartans she was a member of the softball program.
